Our declaration of conformity regarding REACH/RoHS

syskomp gehmeyr GmbH trades in products that are articles within the meaning of chemicals legislation. We source these articles predominantly from European suppliers and, in individual cases, also from suppliers outside Europe.

We have agreed with our suppliers that only REACH- and RoHS-compliant products are delivered to us. If conformity is not maintained, our suppliers are obliged to inform us of this immediately. Towards our customers, we are therefore subject to the information obligations under Art. 33 of the REACH Regulation if a product supplied by us contains a substance of very high concern (SVHC) in a concentration above 0.1 per cent by mass.

The list of SVHC substances is extended twice a year and is published on the website of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) at https://echa.europa.eu/de/candidate-list-table (as of 14.06.2023). In our own interest and against the background of a high level of supply and product safety, we take these information obligations very seriously.

We comply with the legal requirements under Art. 33 of the REACH Regulation by means of the following procedure:

• Our EU suppliers of articles are obliged to inform us without being asked and without delay if the products they supply contain an SVHC substance above 0.1 per cent by mass. If we receive such information from our suppliers, we pass it on to you without delay in accordance with Art. 33 of the REACH Regulation.
• We make separate agreements with all non-EU suppliers of articles, as they are not automatically subject to the REACH information obligations. We therefore obtain written assurance from non-EU suppliers that we will be informed immediately if the 0.1 per cent by mass threshold for an SVHC substance is exceeded in a product delivered to us.

From today's perspective and on the basis of the information provided by our suppliers, it is not expected that our products contain SVHC substances in a concentration above 0.1 per cent by mass.
