What are KLT lifters and what are they used for?
A KLT lifter is an electronic box lifting unit that automatically raises and lowers small load carriers (KLT), blisters or other industrial containers. It brings material at the workstation or machine to an ergonomically optimal height – without lifting or bending.
Which KLT lifter model suits my requirements?
That depends on lifting height and load: model 2000 (95–950 mm, 2,000 N) for standard workstations, model 2300 (95–1,250 mm, 2,000 N) for higher stacks, model 3000 (95–1,000 mm, 3,000 N) for heavier containers and model 3300 (95–1,300 mm, 3,000 N) for demanding applications.
How do I reduce physical strain when removing material from small load carriers (KLT)?
An infinitely adjustable photoelectric sensor detects when a container has been removed and lifts the next one to the ideal position. The unit works in manual, automatic, position and stack mode at a lifting speed of 40 mm/s.
Can I adapt a KLT lifter to changed production layouts later?
Yes. The lifter can be converted from side to front loading at a later date. Castors allow it to be moved, all-round slots allow mounting to transfer systems or machine enclosures, and an adjustable foot ensures a stable stand on uneven floors.
How do I integrate KLT lifters into existing production controls?
Yes. The controller sends signals such as “height reached” to PLC systems and has two free electrical inputs for buttons or sensors. An optional height sensor achieves a repeatability of max. 1 mm in position mode.
How do I minimise downtime through timely maintenance of lifting units?
After 60,000 strokes or 5,000 operating hours, the lifter reports on the control panel that a service is due. The touch control panel shows running time and number of strokes; a maintenance kit (order no. 15999) contains cloths, grease, brush and instructions.
