Production stalls when conveyor technology does not fit the line. As soon as length, width, drive position or belt material do not suit the goods and the plant, you end up with makeshift solutions, extra rounds of coordination and avoidable downtime.

Production lines with changing part sizes
Transport of parts, workpieces and small load carriers between machining stations. Material flow without manual handling cuts waiting times and labour. Also designed for very small parts from a grain size of 5 mm.
Gentle transport of sensitive materials
Speeds between 2 and 70 m/min, belt surfaces from smooth to structured to fabric. Cleats and longitudinal edges prevent slipping without additional guides.
Bulk material and small parts
Side walls and cleats keep material safely on the belt. For continuous supply to assembly stations or for filling containers. Belt inclines up to 18° as standard, steeper angles on request.

Frequently asked questions – SB50 belt conveyor
What speeds can the SB50 belt conveyor reach?
The SB50 reaches 2 to 70 m/min, depending on motor type and load. With an optional frequency inverter integrated in the motor (230 V), the speed can be controlled infinitely between 25 and 70 Hz.

Head drive or centre drive – what is the difference?
The head drive is compact and suitable for conveyor lengths up to 6,000 mm. The centre drive allows lengths up to 10,000 mm and leaves both belt ends free for add-ons or transfers. Cleats on the conveying side are only possible with a head drive.
Which belt incline is possible?
The standard version is adjustable from 0° to 18°. Up to 60° is possible on request, depending on load, belt width and cleats. For seamless height transfer we recommend the Z-conveyor (0° to 60°, conveyed goods from 5 mm grain size).

Is reversing operation possible with an end pulley diameter of Ø 16 mm?
No. With Ø 16 mm, no V-guide can be fitted on the running side of the belt, which is required for stable reversing operation. If you plan reversing operation, choose the Ø 40 mm end pulley from the start.
Are cleats on the belt possible with an end pulley of Ø 16 mm?
No. Ø 16 mm is below the minimum permissible pulley diameter for cleats. If you need cleats, choose a larger end pulley diameter.
Are conveyor lengths over 10,000 mm possible?
Yes, by linking several belt conveyors. An overlapping arrangement reduces the number of transfer points; a completely seamless transfer is not possible when conveyors are linked, however.
Can I retrofit a frequency inverter later?
Yes. The standard three-phase motors (400 V / 50 Hz) can be operated between 25 and 70 Hz with an external frequency inverter without replacing the motor. A motor-integrated frequency inverter (230 V) requires a motor replacement. The load must be reduced depending on the speed.
